Digital Cinema Systems Tech 

Otto Nemenz International, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Digital Cinema Service Technician to

join our Hollywood, CA based team. In this position you will be responsible for general digital cinema equipment

servicing, client side work flow support, on-set color management systems, file based recording systems support

and general customer support of digital cinema systems.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

• General service & customer training of: RED Epic, Sony F35 & ARRI Alexa camera systems.

• General service & customer training of: Codex On-Board recorders, Lab 2/3 systems &

Desktop Transfer Stations.

• Color calibration of on-set & post production reference monitors.

• Client setup & support of media management workflows.

• Working with clients to trouble shoot work flow, camera & file based recorder problems both over

the phone and on location.


SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Sony F35, RED Epic & Alexa camera systems.

• Knowledge of Codex recording & media management systems.

• Knowledge of Mac & PC networking & file sharing.

• General knowledge LTO & RAID storage systems.

• General knowledge of color correction software: Resolve, TrueLight, etc.

• Experience with or knowledge in FinalCut Pro & AVID MC.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• A desire to learn and grow as an in-demand digital cinema systems technician.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to self manage and interact with clients while on location.

• Three years+ of field or client service at a rental facility highly desirable.

• Depending on level of experience, broadcast MAM, media server, ENG & broadcast studio camera

experience may be acceptable in lieu of digital cinema experience.

Lens Technician

Otto Nemenz International, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Lens Technician to join our Hollywood, CA

based team. In this position you will be directly responsible for general reapirs, optical/mechanical QC,

calibration and customer support of the highest quality (Digital & Film) motion picture lenses available anywhere.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

• General repair and maintenance of lenses.

• Adjustment and calibration of prime, telephoto, specialty & zoom lens.

• Verification of optical test equipment.


SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Canon Super16 zoom lenses.
• Knowledge of Cook & Zeiss 16mm & 35mm prime lenses.

• Knowledge of Angenieux & Cook 35mm zoom lenses.

• General knowledge of Nikon & Canon telephoto lenses.

• General knowledge of Periscope lens systems.
• Experience with or knowledge of optical test equipment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• A desire to learn and grow as a skilled optical technician.

• Depending on level of experience, broadcast zoom maintenance will be accepted

in lieu of cinema lens knowledge.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Three years of lens technician service. 

• Basic computer skills desired: Mac or PC, Microsoft Word.
